Business Concerns

I’ve had the opportunity to have Jeffrey Dowd assist me with business concerns several times over the years. This review is based on the latest consultation/work completed by him. I had a client issue that I needed to legally respond too in a clear, concise and timely manner. I called Jeffrey and was literally in his office 5 minutes later – that quick. The attributes that most impress me about Jeffrey are the:

1. His ability to fully listen and understand, then ask meaningful questions to ensure we are on the same page.
2. Jeff’s ability to review his notes in a clear and concise manner to make sure the needed point are covered and addressed- which was greatly appreciated.
3. The ability to respond efficiently, incorporate my feedback to ensure all points are covered the response, again greatly appreciated.
4. His ability to keep me in the loop with outgoing and incoming communications dealing with the issue.
5. The ability to be reached and/or respond in a timely manner.

Again Jeffrey showed all of these attributes with this issue, and I am grateful to have him represent my business and me.

Legal Help

I first met Jeff at a local SCORE meeting where I was looking to get the services of a SCORE Mentor. After hearing about Jeff’s legal and business background, I knew I wanted him to be the business mentor for my new startup venture. Over the months of working with and getting to know Jeff, I was impressed with his knowledge and devotion to helping me create a successful business.

When I was faced with a legal situation (not related to my startup venture), Jeff was immediately available to help. He patiently listened to the whole story, asked thoughtful intelligent questions, and addressed all of my concerns. Jeff advised me of all of my options and the potential issues with each, and then gave me his advice, which was very sensible and thoroughly explained so that I could make the best possible decision.

Probate Matter

Very personal. Hands on with you and truly cares about his clients. Has helped me a few times and have recommended him to others. Just saw him again on a probate matter. Nice to see a lawyer who truly cares and is honest. Not trying to run up a big bill on his clients. 5 Star in my opinion.

Contractor Help

I had an issue with some work I had done on my home and was not very happy with the outcome. After numerous attempts to contact the company and tried to resolve it on my own, I finally contacted Jeff, who was more than willing to help me. He also tried solving the issue, but the company would not and did not comply with our request. Jeffery Dowd is a great lawyer and would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a business issue. He is very professional, fair and honest. We just love him to death !!!

General Education

Jeff was both, knowledgeable and patient when it came to explaining all of my options. He also recommended which option was the most cost effective for my specific situation and then acted quickly to assist me. I’d definitely work with Jeff again and highly recommend him to anyone.

I was so happy to have found Jeffrey Dowd when I did last year.
