The law office of Jeffrey A. Dowd, P.A. was established in January 2002 with the intent of providing legal advice and services to small and start-up businesses at rates a small or start-up business can afford.
Our firm provides a wide range of services, almost all of which relate to business. Providing advice on the purchase or sale of a business, buying a franchise, setting up a corporation or limited liability company, reviewing lease agreements, assisting with obtaining state licenses, and advising on other requirements of operating a business.
We also provide businesses with legal advice on issues that come up from time to time, whether involving a customer, an employee or a partner of the business. We also represent clients during the negotiation of contracts, disputes and lawsuits.
Our firm offers its services, by phone, by fax, by e-mail and in person. Because of the difficult time constraints that face today's businesses, it is often times difficult to meet with your attorney. Our office makes it easy from simplifying certain basic legal processes, to providing consultations by phone.
Many of the services offered by our firm can be completed by downloading one of the questionnaries to the left and returning it to our office. Because legal costs are often a large cost that is not always budgeted for, our office accepts credit cards and offers financing options.
